Was upgrading a guitar that I absolutely love and I came across a treble bleed on Reddit. Decided to look more into it and it was definitely something I wanted to do. It sounds pretty good but again I’m not a tone snob so it appeases me! Will def buy more of these and put them on future projects. It’s very easy to install but I actually installed it backwards, it helped me work on my soldering more. Overall solid for the price and a good upgrade!

Wouldn’t recommend for single coils.

I had a gig coming up and decided to use a new Firebird that I hadn't gigged with before. I'm always riding the volume, so a treble bleed was a must, and I didn't have time to build one, or wait for one from an outside company. This one came next day by Amazon Prime. It's a bit more pricey than some others you'll find online, but in a pinch I got it in time, soldered it in, and played the gig that night. Worked perfectly!

My tele sounds great, I can't notice any loss in tone and of course I get more highs when I roll down the volume. Great price and ease of install. I especially like that the leads are way longer than you need, I clipped about a third to a fourth off but I've seen some people like to fold them over too. Very thoughtful feature!

These are wonderful, if you roll your volume back on your guitar and it gets muddy, you should try one of these. They really help give your guitar clarity in high gain applications.. lets you roll back your volume and clean up the gain but keeps your sound intact …

Replaced the stock treble bleed in my PRS SE Custom 24, pretty easy to do, I suggest buying some helping hands to assist but beware the size of this thing. The small circle was the PRS stock next to this mammoth unit haha.It works fine and does the job as intended, rolling off is now more smooth and my tone doesn't turn to mud instantly like before. However going from 10 to 9 on volume there is a sharp dropoff in volume and then it equals out. Not sure if that's the mod or my pickups but for now I keep it at 9 and treat full volume as a treble booster. What this really means is an eventual pickup swap but for now I'm loving the tones this mod has helped me get.

I have a player tele and there was a slight bit of tone loss when rolling off of the volume knob so I got this treble bleed cap/resister fix.It works great. The tone is perfect, just the right amount of treble retention. I can always roll the tone knob off if necessary (but I haven't had to)I saw a person in the comments say that this doesn't work for single coils (that it would be too bright) but it's not. It's just fine with Tele single coils.8 bucks is a lot but it was painless to use/install and it was of good quality.

This thing is fantastic. Totally cleaned up the "muddy tone" problem. I love that I can have my amp set on distortion and now pull the volume back and get a nice sparkly and balanced clean tone without any of the dark muffle. Such a simple yet awesome mod. I do think this circuit is a little pricey compared to others but it does the job well and I love that it's both the capacitor and resistor in one, preset for you. And the protective coating on sides keeps me from worrying about any issues with circuits touching the wrong thing. Have it installed on two guitars so far, I'm sure I'll add it to any new ones as well.
