This is a great safety rope, that is comparable to other brands. I like the length, the rope quality, and the overall feel of security when off the ground. The ends are nicely done to prevent from fraying, the carabiner is robust, the shrink wrap is awesome, and it is already set up for use. I wouldn't call the storage bag waterproof though, it's just a bag with a drawstring.

I selected this to use on one of my climbing tree stands. I attached this rope to the tree and used it all hunting season with no issues. I tried hanging from this rope with all my weight before I tried using it. I tried grabbing the rope and jumping off the tree stand at a low height to see how it held up to the shock of me catching myself on it and it worked fine. I did not fall though so I can't say for certain how the rope would have worked. It seems as solid as other tree stand safety ropes I have purchased in the past so I think this will work.

This gear is very well made. The end of the rope that makes the loop was only attached to the rope via a heat shrink wrap. I wasn't comfortable with the idea of the heat shrink wrap holding my body weight if I happened to fall. Its no big deal though because the loop is big enough that I was able to tie it in a simple knot right before the heat shrink wrap for that adding confidence. I bought six of these to use in six different tree stand locations.

I used a treestand for the first time this last hunting season and used the lifeline. My friend reminded me before I set everything up that 30% of people that use treestands fall from them at some point. I have no idea if that is true, but I do know that having this rope attached to me gave me comfort. Having used it, I have zero doubt that if I ever fell that I would be caught by this line. It's easy to set up and to get connected to your harness. The gripping knit that slides up and fown the rope takes just a moment to get used to as you need to move it with you. Absolutely great quality and a fair price. I will use this every time I'm up in a tree.

The rope comes already set up for you to use as described in the listing and shown in the pictures. It is very strong rope, but still soft to the touch, and it has an incredible carabiner--I've never seen one so tough in my life. (Full disclosure, I'm no hunter or even much of an outdoorsman...) Also, the ends are burned and sealed off well to prevent fraying. This will be a great addition to my camping gear and can see using it in many different ways.

I thought this might be string, but it is bonified sturdy rope. The locking carabiner is a good feature. Color is nice, and blends in with the woods.Only a couple of issues I see... There is no protection on the rope, so it could become frayed over time from use. And the heat shrink should cover the tag ends of the rope to ensure no scuffing of the main rope, but this heat shrink is approximately 3/4" short. Thank you

This is a great safety line to keep you from plummeting to the ground. Great for you surround the house or while camping or hiking. It takes up very little space, and could save your life. It even comes in its own bag to keep it together for you. Of course if you are doing a job where OSHA would be involved, you would need to upgrade your equipment to the right thickness of line, and an actual fall arrestor. But, for hunting, camping, hiking or around the house, this is a great option. Overall, this is not a bad price for a safety line. Just clip your harness in, and you won't hit the ground if you fall. Great thickness of rope, effective fall stop knot. Great product, will do exactly what it is supposed to, highly recommended.

I have their other 10' linemen's belt. I got this to use for descending. They're both exactly the same material, just different lengths. I really like these ropes. They're high quality material, the prusik knots are good, the carabiners are strong. Plus it comes with a carry bag. Pretty much covers every base on its own.The only thing I don't like about these ropes are that they're reflective and kind of shiny. However, they are also brownish/gold and black which blends well with trees. Deer don't see em though, because they've walked right under me while using them. They have a nicely tied figure 8 loop at one end that you pass the whole rope, carabiner, and prusik through once it's around the tree. The carabiner is rated for 5,600 lbs and is sturdy and trustworthy. The ends are terminated nicely, banded, sewn, and shrink wrapped together. Very nice! These ropes are secure and sturdy. I've been in the tree many times using the shorter one and trust this rope 100%. You'll know when you see it in hand. It's very nice quality end to end.Btw, I have seen the complaints on some of these ropes. Please make sure you know how to use these ropes properly. Make sure all knots are tied and working properly before use. Practice with them at GROUND LEVEL, not even 3' off the ground. Make sure you know what you're doing, because doing it wrong can be fatal. Make sure all stopper knots are in place, and that you understand how the rope system works before betting your life on it.These ropes are great and work exactly as intended when used properly. I have used these with both a climbing stand and a tree saddle, and have complete confidence in these ropes.
