Only thing I don’t like about this is it came with BUM on the front when it’s blank in the picture. The wires are nice looking but are extra tight and difficult to get on fat terminals without a needle nose pliers. But it’s for my spare set of carts, so it’s cool!

Firstly, this item is listed as being sold by Socobeta, yet the packaging says BUM. The pictures of the item in the listing show the item without any writing on it, yet mine came with B U M on the leading edge of the headshell (see photo). I would have liked additional mounting screws (shorter ones) because the ones that came with it were far too long for my cartridge and interfered with the stylus. I now have to order additional mounting screws. That said, the listing says it is made of plastic but the one I received is aluminum (which I prefer).

Great Headshell. Perfect fit.Only issue I had was the lead ends were very tight to put on, both the Cartridge and Headshell. I had to be careful not to break the pins. Other than that, very happy 😄 with my purchase.If it wasn't for that, I would've gave it 5 stars.

The company is named BUM. I should have realized that is how my experience turned out. I've been playing records for over 65 years. Even as a teenager in working for a record shop that sold equipment as well as records, I've assembled cartridge heads 100's of times. I have NEVER had such difficulty as I did with this. The head shell itself is just ok.....the wires that need to go on the headshell pins are marginal at best, one even came apart and I threw it away having some spares around. They use the worst pins ever. EVER !!! .And the screwdriver they supply is a piece of @#$% ....ummm crap !!! It's too small for the groove in the screws. Throw it away. Better yet, find another one on Amazon....the pennies you save won't cover the cost of treating the hypertension that should be listed on the side of the box. Oh... the box was nice....Did I get it to work? Yes after about an hour and some tedious soldering. Would I recommend it? HELL NO !!!

The location Pin was not Centered in the Head shell body Causing this Asmuth to be off + 2 degrees.I rotated the 4-pin assembly and super glue back to lock it in the proper place to correct Asmuth.But why should I need to on a new product. Would not recommend.

The right signal pin didn't work. I Ohm tested every connection on my turntable, took it apart, bought a new cartridge and spent hours troubleshooting the problem and it turned out to be the pin. I got a reading out of it, but it wouldn't transfer the signal to the tonearm pin. Also, once inserted in the tonearm, it wouldn't sit flat, which put the stylus at an angle. Lastly, it has the name "BUM" printed on the top. appropriate name for the product, but still wasn't in the photos. I bought a Ortifon headshell. It cost more, but I'm sure it will work.
