About this item

  • Quality rack-less panier bags built for touring and adventure riding

The Tusk Highland X2 Rackless Luggage is made of heavy-duty nylon materials, and is ready to withstand any adventure you want to embark on. The Highland X2 is the largest rack-less bag we offer. This bag system mounts easily to most adventure motorcycles and even smaller dual sport motorcycles. With an all new pivot mounting system, it fits more sizes of motorcycles even better. It mounts best with a motorcycle specific top rack, but its greatest feature is it does not require any side pannier racks. The 5 nylon webbing straps allow for easy removal of the entire bag from the motorcycle. These are the perfect setup for your adventuring or touring style but their specialty is off-road specific adventure riding. All of the Tusk Dry Duffel Bags can work with the Tusk Highland bag system, and the top compression flap and straps will keep them secure. The Quickdraw Utility bag mounts with Molle sticks to the compression flag and is a perfect place to keep items that need quick access. The Highland X2 also now features an all new pivot puck that allows the lower straps to pivot to the correct mounting angle and also removes the acorn nut inside of the side bags

They don’t fit KTM 690. It will melt and break the plastic. I tried talking with tech support, but they said it was normal. See pics. Not normal.

If the instructions for installing the bags were better, I'd give it all the stars. For the money though, these are hands down the best value. The stood up to a nine day, 1000 mile off road trip with several wipeouts.I love the little pouch on the back for quick access to things like snacks, chapstick etc. The molle system works great. Skip the waterproof inserts they give you and use waterproof compression sacks and gallon zip lock bags. Oh and make sure you get the large water bottle holders. They worked extremely well for me.

I bought these to set up a new ADV bike (Tenere 700). I have Mosko gear on my GS and love it but was looking for a less expensive option for the T7. I figured since it's amazon, if I didn't like the Tusk bags they'd be easy to return. Once they arrived I mounted them up snd took a 4 day trip to Death Valley. I've gotta say, I'm really impressed. The bags mount up nicely and are very secure once on the bike. They do NOT move once secured. I was able to pack my regular ADV camping loadout into the two side bags and under the beaver tail. I had considered the smaller set initially, but glad I got the Highland. They are not all that large cmpared to my Mosko Backcountry 35 bags. All the Mole webbing is great for strapping on whatever else you need. Fabric seems really durablr. Stitching is great. Overall I think they are fantastic bags for under $100. I won't hesitate to take them anywhere.
