I was not able to get the uplink to connect above 100Mbps. I spoke with Ubiquiti support, updated firmware, ran SSH commands to try to force a gigabit connection, etc. Sent them back.

Fast and reliable... Super easy to setup. Make sure you have a PoE injector or PoE switching. Other than that, it was standard Ubiquiti adoption process.

I have 3 other UniFi hot spots and bought this to cover one last dead spot. This meshed seamlessly and it’s faster than the others.

Please note that the best way to use these is to buy the controller, I tried setting them up without the controller and it wasn't fun. The controller I got was about 130 dollars but didn't have POE so just double check that before you buy one. Once I had the controller I was up and running in just a few minutes so easy. I had wifi although low signal outside my house about 2-3 hundred feet from my house. It did a great job for sure no complaints as of yet. :)

The U6 Plus Access Point with Wi-Fi 6E has been a fantastic addition to our VFW Post. The newly available 6 GHz band delivers lightning-fast speeds and improved connectivity, even with multiple devices connected. It's easy to set up and has drastically reduced network congestion during our events. The coverage is excellent, providing a strong, reliable signal throughout the entire building (along with the 2 of these access points and a Ubiquiti Dream Wi-Fi 6 Ethernet Wireless Router). Highly recommend this for any organization looking to upgrade their Wi-Fi performance!

Works great and worth every penny. If your switch doesn’t have 48V POE you need the power adapter.

After installing this access point, the Unifi app discloses that it is a 2x2 MIMO and not the 4x4 MIMO that is advertised more than once on the advertising from this seller. The model I bought here was the U6+.My 6-year-old Unifi AC Pro is 3x3, meaning three transmit and three receive antennas. How much investigative homework do I have to do to ensure that I'm getting the product that I wanted matches what they're trying to sell me?I would love to tell you about all the nice features and performance this AP has, but I'm not going to keep it.A few things I can tell you is it doesn't come with the 48 volt POE adapter that's necessary to power it. From what I remember, 24 volt POE adapters are used on the lite APs, and 48volts on the others. This one runs on 48volts.And Ubiquity has removed the secondary RJ45 Jack that used to be in the older models. So there will be no daisy chaining. Also, this model is much heavier than the lightweight AC Pros of yesteryear.Lastly, the pinhole lock has been resized wider and a metal blade for unlocking the device is included in the package.I have a good mind to return it though.
