Perfect size, it's thin and more compact than you'd think. There's a clip on the back that is perfect for clipping onto molle loops. Clipped to the back of my tree saddle, I can wind the strap with one hand. It is quiet and the tubing on the little carabiner is a nice touch. Only complaint is that the strap, while strong, is pretty thin and can be hard to grip. Overall, I'm happy with this product, especially for the price, and is an upgrade over the old hoist strap I had for years.

This is a great little tool to retrieve my bow and bag once I'm up in the tree. I don't use the wind up to pull (too heavy) it's easier to just pull everything up and wind it up to store it cleanly. Fits well in my saddle pouch and doesn't weigh much.

This thing works great. I found it works flawlessly on bows or lighter objects. Heavier guns just take a little more effort but is worth it for the safety it brings. Great addition to any hunter’s bag.
