Avoid this rifle like the plague, company does not guarantee any kind of accuracy. Why not buy a rock instead?Tried multiple pellet brands/style and weights the best grouping I can get is 6 inches at 25 yards(using a bag rest)

I watched a popular YouTube reviewer claim this was a much improved rifle over the previous model. The first model must have been a huge pile of garbage because this 2nd generation gun is unreliable trash. The magazine quit advancing properly within the first couple days of shooting. You had to be very careful to check to see if it would rotate to actually shoot a pellet. Otherwise you’d get a jam. I switched to the second magazine that did keep working until I sent the gun back. This gun was not accurate. I tried many different pellets and it would not shoot tight groups. Before you accuse me of being a bad shot, I’ve been shooting both air and firearms for decades and achieved NRA medals for marksmanship. The cause for poor accuracy is the awful barrel crown, or I should say, lack of a barrel crown. The magazine is also a contributor as it has to index perfectly with the barrel or it’ll damage pellets as they don’t always line up perfectly with the bore. You can’t even shoot this gun single shot as it has to have the magazine in place to function. If you want a repeater, Gamo has their system figured out. The gun will leave you disappointed as it cannot provide the accuracy and consistency expected with a fixed barrel under lever design. The rest of the gun is mediocre for the price. Lots of plastic, no open sights, a plastic scope rail, gas ram with questionable long term reliability and did I mention the poor accuracy? I actually unsubscribed from the YouTube channel that promoted this gun as being so great. It was obviously a sponsored review as what I received in the mail could no way compare to what was featured in the video.

I am very happy and satisfied with my .22 caliber air rifle it feels solid and well made. I am very happy with how quickly it arrived the only unfortunate issue I have is the way it was mailed to me. It was mailed in its original packaging that the rifle is packaged in at the manufacturer. There was no attempt to package the air rifle in a box it. Whom ever sent it only put a shipping label on the box and mailed. When I received it at the post office I was initially very happy until I saw the opened up box with holes in it which allowed various parts and components to fall out which could have been prevented with packaging it up correctly and not just slapping a label on it and sending it. They did not even tape the box closed or use plastic straps around it. It was just ridiculous and for that reason I am very disappointed with my purchase

After reading several reviews from airgun enthusiasts and blogs about this being a great but for the price and the out of box performance being great, I'm very disappointed in the one I received. Even after double checking everything was tight and shooting several hundred rounds of different brands and weights of pellets through it, it will not group. At all. No matter what hold I use or putting it on the bench, it will not group. At 25 yards it's doing good to group within a 9x11 sheet of paper. I really looked forward to owning this air rifle but now it looks like I'll be sending it back. I'm very disappointed and don't know if I'll even try another umerex air rifle after this.
