works well. Bought to fix my MR Coffee machine, with a slight mod to the position of the contacts, fit and preforms well.

Replacement of thermostat switch for a Mr. Coffee coffee maker. It does require soldering in new part but was relatively simple. Unfortunately, this is the second machine in which this part failed. I threw the first one away. If it didn't make coffee the way we like it (very strong) I would have just bought a different machine.Update 7.24.2021. This is now the third thermal switch that has gone bad on this machine. Again, easy to replace but why is it failing???? Anyone have any ideas. Threw in new switch, (ordered two the first time) and the machine is working perfectly again. If we were'nt so happly with the coffee this machine makes on the "Strong" setting we would chuck.

Repaired Mr. Coffee model jwx27. The thermostat that has 148 on it went bad and I used this one to replace. What I liked, it worked. What I did not like, it did not come with the screw down bracket. I salvaged the old bracket, bent the curved rim of the bracket straight so it would fit over the new one. Used some epoxy putty to secure bracket to thermostat. Made a jumper for one of the connections due to the connections being horizontal instead of vertical. Used white silicone heat sink for thermostat connection to heater and heater to aluminum coffee pot base. May update this as time goes by. The corporation that owns and makes these coffee makers has made them totally disposable to those that will not try to repair.

Fixed our little coffee pot. I found this thermostat for less elsewhere, but still, for the price it was ok. It was a good exercise in repairing rather than throwing away. The thermostat wasn't an exact replacement for what I had, (slightly different case) but I managed to secure it anyway and made it work. This is a 145 degree thermostat, which is what I was replacing. Doesn't water boil at 212 degrees?

So glad to replace this part on my Mr. Coffee coffee maker. I've probably thrown out several coffee makers because this part needed replace. This was a very inexpensive five minute fix but you will need a soldering iron. Very happy with price and shipping.👍👍👍

The unit works well. Be sure your mounting legs is IDENTICAL to your old part. It is very difficult to make modifications. You need a good contact surface with your installation position.

Although the thermostat got my Farberware percolator working again, it never reached the 145 degree setting because the coffee pot never shut off. I had to unplug it. Coffee was extremely hot, so I would have thought it had reached its temperature.
