Universal Air Conditioner EX 10484C A/C Compressor Control Valve:1. Reasonable price2. Received on time in Oct 2019 (now 2022)3. Fixed problem with slightly low pressure4. Fixed cooling issue at low speedsThese pressure switches were added to improve fuel efficiency at highway speeds. They reduce the load from the AC compressor. The problem with mine was that the fine-mesh filter on it got clogged with tiny particles which likey come from the compressor. This reduced flow through the valve, results in poor cooling..Now, currently 2022 after 2.5 years, the new valve is likely clogged up again with reduced cooling similar to 2019. The 1st one (OE) lasted about 5 years. The problem I believe is a manufacturer design issue. This new replacement part appears to be similar to the OE one, as it should be. I will check my pressures, and if as suspected a clogged filter, then I may order another new valve or attempt to clean the filter screen.

It was the same dimensions and length of the original but the brass area looked quite different and the holes were not in the same spots. Regardless of the appearance, it fit perfectly and fixed my pressure issues. The high side was correct around 160 lbs but the low side would not go lower than 65 - 75 lbs. With the new part, my low side is at around 50 - 55 lbs (south tx weather) and finally bowing cold. My original one went bad due to the wiring harness getting corroded and frayed and were also touching one another causing incorrect current flow which probably burned it up.
