This adapter lets me to use my small uniweld 17 torch tips on my victor100 series torch and on my harbor freight welding set. Anotherreview had O ring problems so I order replacement O rings just in case. However, I have not had any O ring problems even afternumerous uses and swap outs. I am very happy with my purchase.

Did the job. Could not attach my uniweld torch hook without it. There's no other solution to the problem that I know of, other than this. With that said I really don't like this adapter. The machined groove that is meant to hold the O-ring in place is not at all deep enough. Every single time you remove this from the torch head (so you can use another tip for example) the O-ring gets lost because it falls off. Now in order to use this I either have to put it on and leave it on, or have a bunch of O-rings. Speaking of that, I got a bulk O-ring package years ago, and despite I don't have an exact match, I got one close enough BUT I would rather have the correct one. When I called Uniweld on the phone to ask about this product and get help with adapting my hook tip to my torch the woman I spoke with was pretty arrogant toward me, as if it was my fault I was asking questions about the product her company makes and she didn't know the answers. (questions pertaining to fitment and compatibility). Now it's like I need another torch handle so I can have a handle dedicated to this adapter and the hook it adapts. I love the hook torch tip but it should not require the adapter and the adapter stinks in my opinion. Luckily I found out about the O-rings falling out while I was doing a preliminary test run, not on the road on a job.
