Awesome buy for those short statured like me. Getting my yaks on top of my jeep are a bit of a challenge by myself. This thing is a game changer. It does have to be assembled, but it was quick and easy. Well made, quality welds, and its adjustable. Definitely worth the price point for my short self. Fellow shorties........buy this........you'll thank me later!!

This kayak rack is well made with black powder coating and sturdy welds. It assembles easily and has several adjustments for different types and sizes of kayaks. You won’t be disappointed with this product. As a shorter woman I recently got a taller suv and had trouble loading onto my roof racks. This will save my back from roof loading my two kayaks. A couple of pool noodles added for extra cushion at contact points were all the extras I needed. It is extremely sturdy and well thought out. All hardware is included. Pins provide quick easy removal for storage. I’m so very pleased with this item I can’t imagine not having one from now on. I only wish it had a locking feature… it’s so cool I worry someone will swipe it while I’m parked.

This is just what I needed to go camping with my kayak. I used a pool noodle, cut up, to provide the extra padding. The straps they include are great too. Very substantial and did the job. Happy camper! 😎

This hitch-mount kayak rack arrived in new condition and adequately protected using plenty of bubble-wrap and a large sheet of foam padding. The instructions appear well written and mainly utilize large, detailed diagrams. The rack is constructed of steel and the welds look to be clean and consistent. It is relatively easy to mount and easy to use. Overall, I recommend.

I have 2 10ft kayaks and towing a 5th wheel there virtually no room in the bed and a roof rack will cause the kayaks to hit the front of trailer. This rack solves that issue with it attached to the rear hitch of the trailer. Easily assembly and quick setup makes this rack a pleasure to use and when I'm not towing I can attach it to the truck horizontally. The dual purpose of this rack is awesome.

This Kayak Rack for RVs or Trucks is a nice and versatile way to carry two Kayaks when you do not have a trailer to do so. It only takes about 20 minutes or so to put together and it is really handy when you do get it together and ready to go. I like that you can change it into either vertical or horizontal carrying positions. The powder coating looks nice, but the welds itself are a little sloppy. They look plenty strong, but are not really smooth. This and the fact that currently there are others that are more competitive is the reason that I’m giving it 4 stars.

I'm a 5'4" lady that didn't want to try putting a kayak up and down off the roof of my car. I was able to assemble this rack by myself and load my 10' kayak on it solo and it went fine, and will only get better with more experience. There are several different mounting holes for the bottom rack. Depending on the height of your car hitch, make sure you leave enough clearance at the bottom for your kayak to not hit the ground, and take extra care over speed bumps or rough ground. The instructions to assemble it aren't bad. They don't include instructions on how to attach the stabilizer plate over the hitch, but that's the same as on any other rack you might put on a car, so you can google it.They include two pieces of sticky-back black foam padding to line the carrying racks. One piece of the foam fit almost perfectly onto the upper U shaped rack, I had to trim it a little bit. The other piece was not long enough to completely line the interior of the two bottom compartments. In the last two pics, you can see that their included foam padding provides very little padding, so foam noodles or pipe insulation foam will provide me more peace of mind on that. They include two black caps for the pipe ends of the upper U shaped rack, but they fall right out. My husband super glued them in. I'll have to check tomorrow in daylight to see if they stayed in after our drive with the rack and kayak. The ratchet straps seem like a good quality. I've only driven this about 10 minutes from my house to the lake, but it was really stable feeling.I oriented the kayak so the inside was facing to the back, for better wind flow over the strapped down kayak. This kayak weighs about 40lbs and I was pleased to be able to load an unload it solo.
