Question Answer
Q1: Why does the product not display when the product is plugged into the charger alone?
A1: The Type-C port of most chargers has no voltage output by default. At this time, the product has no power supply and no display. Only when the load protocol is detected will the charger have voltage output and the product will display at this time.
Q2: Why can't the test meter measure 10A or 120W when my product charger is marked with 10A or 120W?
A2: The value tested by this product is the real-time charging parameter during the charging process. The parameter marked on the charger is the maximum power parameter of the product, and it does not output such a large parameter at any time.
Q3: Why does the output occasionally display a current of 0.01-0.02A when there is no load connected?
A3: This product uses bidirectional current detection. It is normal to have a very small no-load current, but it can also be cleared by quickly pressing the function key in the current clearing interface.

This is ONLY an in-line tester, meaning if you just plug this device into a USB outlet it does nothing. This is an in-line only tester meaning you have to connect it between the power outlet and the device being charged. If you just want to test a USB power source, this is not the device for you.

Out of the box it was about +.4V off but once calibrated it's spot on. Easy to do, plug in a charger that puts out exactly 5 volts and go to the language/calibration screen, navigate to the "calibrate" push and hold the down button until it says "OK" While you are calibrating do not have it connected to anything other than the charger. No load.

There are TONS of cost friendly USB power meters out there, but I opted for this one after the review posted by AllThingsOnePlace on YouTube. Overall I'm quite happy; the meter works exactly as described here on Amazon as well as what he showed on his review. Seeing peaks, as well as Wh and current stats are all quite helpful. The graph feels gimmicky but cool to see none the less.If you just want to see what your USB-C devices are doing for the cost of a nice lunch, I don't think you can go wrong with this.

I needed a cheap USB-C type power monitor, this was recommended by a friend, it does the job perfectly. It comes in a nice metal box for protection.

The amount of info provided by this tiny device is pretty impressive. With this tool, you can test any of your charging adapters, cables, charging ports, or USB battery power supplies to determine if they are putting out the voltage that they claim. Great little tool for the electronics tool box.
