Poor quality. I’m not sure how these received good ratings. They’re extremely poor quality, they arrived bent and not a product I could or would use.

I used these to replace several missing studs on a pair of strappy knee high Converse from 2011. They have two different sizes of studs - only a handful of the smaller ones had fallen off. I went with 7mm and they were just a bit smaller than the original studs. In hindsight I think the 10mm would've been a closer match but 7mm still worked. You do have to be careful not to damage the stud when placing them.

Used for a quick halloween costume idea for a hooded jacket and it came out adorable. I just 75 of them and it was done in under 15 mins. They functioned well and didn't come loose.

Okay but hard to attach without crushing

Replaced the studs on a jacket, they look great. A little loose, but I put a dot of fabric glue inside each as I worked and they're pretty stable now

In my opinion, these are way easier to work with than the standard studs. Measure where you want them, use an awl to punch your holes, then you can pop these in- and they stay before you hammer them down- so you can lay everything out and make sure it looks right before hammering them down. They hold on quite well, no falling off, no ripping. We used in denim- my denim is a little thinner than my husbands but these studs worked well on both fabrics.
