This is a simple component so there isn't much to review -- instead of putting a bunch of individual resistors you can put down one of these to cover 8 different resistors with a common cathode on the last pin (you can tell which end by the writing). It's very easy to make the mistake of accidentally hooking cathode to anode so be very careful or you could lose 8 different components.
