I got this nice office chair for free at the county transfer station. It is a bit heavy but strong and well built. The sturdy arms rests are essential for lifting off the chair fter knee surgery. The feet were worn down to the metal and would have damaged the floor. The next photo shows the product I purchased from Amazon.ca. Delivered next day and fit perfect. No cutting or trimming

So upset not only did I waste the money on the these squares but thought I ordered the wrong caster wheels so I went ahead and ordered another set from another company making sure the caster wheels were M8 threaded and the squares are still too small for the new ones, not true toi the size and now I have two sets of caster wheels and nothing connect them to!! Buyer Beware!!

The insert works just fine unless you're using a caster, in which case it will pull out, but you just need to use some Gorilla Glue.

These are designed for either a sliding foot or in-Line wheels. Do not use for off-set castors.They will pry out immediately.

I love how easy this was to correct. One of the wheels was missing One of these do dads So the wheel kept falling off. Such an easy fix. And I got lucky I didn’t even measure before ordering. Fits perfect!

June 23- Used these to add casters to a coffee table with 1in ID metal legs. Fit was snug and perfect. The caster threaded perfectly including room for the machine nut for added stability.October 23- using our coffee table last night, we pushed it away and two of the casters pulled out of the legs and the coffee table fell over. Removing the casters and inspecting the plugs demonstrated that the ribs on the plug that hold it in place had collapsed effectively loosening the plug. Undoubtedly the plastic plug probably flexed ever so slightly each time the table was moved on its casters compressing the plug plastic. Maybe this is because the table (which isn't very heavy at all) is being moved on carpet with increased force being applied to accomplish movement, as opposed to on a hard floor which would require less force. Never-the-less the plugs failed. Glad I had purchased a set of 8, so I just replaced the old ones (seen here) but now I know that this product will fail and in less than 6 months. My problem is finding a more substantial threaded plug with Metric M8 specs. Star rating reduced as a result.

The product is a good quality, and it has ability to screw in the wheel which i think is a great idea. What is not great is that it is short and it will not be able to hold in if you roll anything other than super lightweight. So it was useless for me for my foldable art table. Each roll and wheels would fall off. They should be a bit longer.
