The Samsung dryer manual spec was correct, but the internet throwing so many variant of the thermostat and confusing customers. It was a trial and error to buy different and try it and got burned after couple of cycles. Once learned to understand the specs from the Samsung manual, this item as ordered and meets the specifications. Almost 10 load completed without burning. Also, the other issue was blocked dryer vents, it was difficult to remove the blocks, so made the vent to go out side the temporarily. need to fix the vents. This product works good (as of now!)

These seem to be OK in terms of construction but they weren't the right form factor for my application (not flat across the face of the sensing element - the sensing element on these is meant to go down into a hole or recess below the flange). I only needed one so tore the other one apart to see what the construction was like. It appeared to be similar to the one that I was trying to replace - not great quality but not horrible either. If it fits your application, it will probably do the job.
