Furniture Screw-in Nut
- Inner hex head and the body trapezoidal design, the structure is more stable.
- Nut insert has internal and external threads. The internal thread is mainly for self-locking wood. Generally, it is a standard mechanical thread, which is convenient for connecting with other standard threaded fasteners.
Note
- The head with flange has a positioning function and is installed on the surface of the connecting piece; without flange is no positioning function and is installed inside the connecting piece.

Installation Steps
- Measure the thickness of the board, the board is longer than the nut by more than 3mm.
- Example: The M6 nut is used with an M8 drill bit, and the drilling depth is the length of the nut.
- Use an M6 hexagon wrench to screw the nut clockwise into the board.
- Screw the nut until it is level with the wooden board.

First off be careful to not over tighten these on install as they will crack. I would suggest doing a practice install to see where that limit is. It was surprising low for me on my actual piece which I ended up having to scrap because of it. Secondly the threads themselves are a little weak as well too.Overall these did work for my application, but I would look for a different solution or source next time.
