Works as described. Installed outdoor porch. Only minor complaint is that the usb cord dangles next to the bulb. Wish it stuck out more however easy to reposition with various fasteners.

I do not have an outdoor outlet close to my Wyze security camera and this solved the problem for me. I just screwed it into my porch light, then put the bulb in this socket and plugged my camera into this with a short USB cord. My camera stays charged now and functions perfectly. Highly recommend this and the price was very affordable.

Connected this to outdoor camera and wifi light. . The wyze brand I purchased was a pan. The usb power for the camera was okay, but the light would fail after about a week. This has so far stayed on with no issues.

This is a great product to do exactly what I wanted and that is to provide USB power for my Wyzecam from my porch light bulb socket. It’s in the color black so it blends in more with my black porch lantern. It’s 30% cheaper than the Wyze socket and has a built-in USB extension to make it easier to connect your usb powered device in tight spaces. It’s a little bit larger than other products but still allows me to connect a smart light bulb and my WyzeCamv4. Highly recommend and time will tell if it’s lasts.Product dimensions are ~3.5” L x 2.5” W with a 7” built-in usb extension.
