Takes the edge off for sure. Noticed small drop in hp but a bit of mid range boost from back pressure. Definitely quieter but not a huge difference from sitting on bike. My neighbours will be happy though. Sound is nice. It is pretty much exactly the amount of quietness I was hoping for more or less.But, I would personally leave new glass pack off (fibre wrap on inside of baffle) if you run this unless you really want much more quiet effect and are ok woth even more noticable hp drop.Your bike prolly needs to be retuned too if you run new glass packing and this on v&h 2 to 1 pipe. Unless you never added a tune to begin with that is. Even then, the stock tune might not be great with this either if you already have v&h pipes put on. Prolly need to run a few trips and get a dynamic map programmed and flashed (plugged in tuner).All in all, worth the money for the neighbours. If you dont care about neighbours or anyone frankly, leave off and enjoy your extra hp ;) (I did this for 10 years haha).

An absolute must-have with the Comp Series Exhaust. Deeper, richer idle with a much more manageable noise level on the highway. Transforms the bike to still sound like an XR-1000 race bike above 5K RPM but without the heavy drone at 3K that the exhaust features without this baffle.

Quiet must be fairly subjective, because this baffle made no difference in the noise coming out of the exhaust.

The baffles are made of thick steel, they seem to be very well made. Unfortunately I could not use them, they where a little too big for my pipes, I ended up returning the Items, I sure wish I that I would have been able to use them

Very satisfied customer! Fast shipping and baffle worked as expected. Installed this baffle on a Vance and Hines Competition Sries in my 2011 HD Forty Eight and now the exhaust sound is tolerable. I no longer need ear plugs when riding.
