This will be my review of the "VANRORA 2-Pair Merino Wool Ski Socks, Made in USA Lightweight Snowboard Socks". I live in a warm climate and don't ski, but I love cozy high socks and these looked good to me so I got them. I successfully wore them for a whole day and they were alright, and handled moisture well and kept my feet dry (that is always the most important thing for a good sock in my opinion). However, I have two cons to say about these socks.Firstly, these are thinner than I thought they would be. Perhaps that could be a plus for you, it all depends. But these are marketed as ski socks, and yet they seem to be way too thin for any sort of cold weather climate. And Secondly, the material is not silky soft or even cotton soft, it seems to be an abrasive, rough type finish. They still worked fine for me, I mostly felt this abrasiveness by the leg area more-so than my feet. However, if you have sensitive skin, I would possibly avoid these and just find a softer pair of socks.If you don't mind the thin and rough material, then I say, you can try these out. But if I had to do it again, I would just choose a different pair of socks altogether. And I should say, this is coming from a sock lover that has all sorts of different brands of socks. 3 out of 5 stars.

the socks are great wool sock that has ajust the right amount of increased thinness at the shin. It is a med weight sock so it does not take up a great deal of volume in the boot.

I purchased this pair of socks and tried during my thanksgiving trip to Colorado. They are really warm! The temperature was 15F but my feet felt no cold at all. I can ski all day without taking off the boots to warm up.

Got these for my husband when he goes snowboarding. He loves that they're not super thick, so it's not too tight in his boots, but they kept his feet perfectly warm. No extra sweating and no cold toes! Will be getting more as the season continues!

These are nice merino wool socks and appear to be of good quality. They are just below the knee and is what I wanted. They are not as heavy as I expected and I will most likely be wearing another sock over these. Probably just a bit heavier calf height sock. I plan on using these for ice fishing and my large pak boots are oversized to accommodate heavier thicker socks. If I wear these alone I feel my boots would be loose on my feet.These are very soft and comfortable to wear. These will also do duty as everyday socks on winter days when outside doing a bit of shoveling or running around town doing errands when I’m wearing my regular winter shoes or boots. These socks claim to be made in the U.S. but do not elaborate on where exactly. I know there are very very few textile mills still producing here in the United States so I’m sorry to say I’m a bit skeptical on the claim. The term Made In The USA is used very loosely in marketing these days. But that being said I still think these are worthy of the four stars. I rarely give clothing products five stars out of the package until they have seen at least one seasons worth of wash and wear.At $22.50 a pair these are not what I would call a great value but there is currently a 20% off coupon making them a very good value!

My husband used these socks skiing. They were warm and comfortable. He prefers a thinner sock and these meet that requirement. Great price also!
