Have ordered three. Each time packaging is damaged and items rolling around loose, so that should be improved.So far seem to work well despite packaging issues.Make sure to inspect for all items.

I live in the dead center of New York state and admit I got lax on snow falls because we just didn't have the accumulations we used to get 10 years ago. This year we got hammered. It was almost like 20 years ago. Every other day it snowed a few inches with some heavy downfalls of over 2 feet (several times). Because we haven't had that much snow in years. I built my pole barn with minimum allowed pitch (2:12). I built it well. A cubic foot of snow can weight over 20 pounds depending on moisture. So when I walked out and saw a 2x8 rafter with a 3 inch split, I knew the roof wouldn't to last if something wasn't done and quick. I checked the local home improvement stores, but could only find 9 footers for $150+ so I checked on online and ordered VEVOR Jack Post Pole from Amazon. I needed 11 feet and this was supposed to handle that and over 5 tons of snow. The day it came it I installed it using a 4x6 as a header supporting rafters to the sides of the broken beam. Worked like it should. The base comes in three pieces with a welded base (good weld too.) A unblemished orange powder coat and what looked like sinless steel locking pins. The only reason this isn't FIVE STARS is lifting. With serious weight it screws hard, even with a cheater pipe. I'm buying 3 more to place them under the rest of the roof every winter so I don't have to worry about snow again.

The product is fairly good but the packaging for shipment is HORRIBLE! I ordered two and one was received virtually in pieces.

It looks sturdier than I thought. For that I'm giving a 5 star. But it will need some lube first.There is also a flaw for my use. The post at the top is not flush or slightly lower than the top plate. But it sticks out a little bit. I'm not sure if it's intentional by design or a manufacturing error.

Bought to support joists while doing renovations. Better than the ones before I had that are made of three pieces (base/post/top) that were a pain when on your own.This one comes with pins that you use to set the approx. height and then a longer bar to screw the top to the final settings.Package arrived broken open and was missing a pin. Seller replaced - came from China so it took a few weeks.Very pleased.

I purchased the floor jack to shore up the main beam under our cabin. It arrived securely packaged and was easy to install. The lifting mechanism is smooth and easy to operate. Our bouncy floor is gone. Very nice product.
