I finally found the solution for that awkward spot above my refrigerator. The only negative I have is that the rack was bought in "acceptable" condition. The rack had a slight bend. I was able to straighten and had to paint a chip that was created when bending back in place. Otherwise terrific for my project!

Very nice display. Show off the bottles and almost is invisible. Very easy to install. Love the system !

Easy to mount and looks very nice. They sent me the wrong color though, thankfully the platinum color ended up working.

Our wine cellar is small and designed as a “drinking” cellar, in that the wines we buy are for near-term enjoyment and not so much for longer-term aging nor for collecting certain wines. As such, we do not have quantities of single wines but mostly 1-3 bottles of anything we buy. Therefore, we really like VintageView’s ideas about wine storage where labels are viewable for all bottles. Stacking these racks gives us the quantity of bottle storage we want for the space we have, and the necessary label visibility. We bought two of these as tests to determine their strength, to see the actual finish, and to determine vertically how close to one another the racks could be installed without making it cumbersome to insert and remove bottles. These are beautifully finished, though I would call it more of a “matte” black than satin. Edges are smooth, and the racks are quite strong, easily holding 9 bottles without bending under the weight. The racks also hold bottles larger than 750ml depending upon their length.Although these racks can be installed into VintageView’s separate vertical racking brackets, we tried installing them into wall studs. The two we tested work well and are amazingly strong installed that way.So the racks do what they purport to do and well. So why not 5 stars? There are two con’s: first, some taller 750ml bottles (some slender Reislings, for example) are too long for the racks, and secondly, slender 375ml “splits” like iceweins and other dessert wines balance about mid way up the bottle tipping their bases upwards above the bottom edge of the racks and therefore would slide out. Other racking is needed for these exceptions, but for the majority of bottles, these racks are excellent.
