The filter system came w/ a used vehicle and was an post manufacture installment. First time I have known of these systems and would consider adding one to my next vehicle as filter keeps oil and air systems very clean on my field work truck which is a dirty environment. Easy to clean and maintain but car dealer service departments don't know much about them or want to deal w/ them. Obviously, the filters must be working against standard vehicle systems and not causing extra work or purchases to be performed. Heavy duty construction makes product sturdy and reliable.

I use this filter in a desert environment and also do a lot of offroading in the sand. I have been using this since more than a week and till now I can say that this pre filter is good quality stuff. I'll update once I wash it and use it some more
