Powerful baseliners who like to hit with heavy spin will love this one. Given the combination of spin, control and overall playability, Cyclone is one of the best values in its class.

Great Spin, Control and Power. I used to play with other poly's like Solinco and RPM. Solinco strings are good but was requiring frequent restringing and RPM and Luxilon being on the expensive side, this one met both the areas of durability and being cheap. and 18L was good on the arms and will less tension was able to produce ample power.

Soft, very powerful and great bite on the ball, even better byte than the 18G Hyper-G (also great string and a bit softer) .Having said that, this is very soft compared with black 16g Cyclone, Yellow 17g Cyclone and Orange 18g Cyclone, also tension maintenance is far better than the other gauges.Using it as a hybrid: Cyclone black 18L mains at 46lbs/ Wilson Revolve orange 16g crosses at 50lbs, big power, out of this world bite and spin. The racquet is a Head Youtek IG adical MPOnly potential downside is that is a heavy string, it pushes the weight of the racquet up noticeably. In my case this resulted in a plus because the standard radical always seemed a bit light.

My top choice in a full poly setup. I string it in the 40s, high 40s for warm temperature and low 40s in the winter, for great pocketing and insane spin
