I use this with my multi-plug unit and charging units for iPhone and iPads also with other chargers. This way I don’t have the electricity running into chargers that are not in use.

I bought these for my motorcycle battery tender. I don't like to leave it plugged in when the bike isn't hooked up. Being able to flip the switch, instead of unplugging it each time is great.

This is a perfect product to use with appliances lacking an on/off switch, or if it’s in a very inconvenient position. I have about 7 of these around the house. I Ike how it makes for example the free standing electric skillet, which I used to have to unplug and plug back in multiple times while cooking, so much safer to operate.
