It's a little on thin side as far as mailbox construction goes but it's nice. The glued on numbers are ok (my husband thinks they're awful / cheap looking). This mailbox is ideal for smooth type of wall. Ours is textured and when opening cover it rubs a bit on the wall.

This big, well made box replaced a cheaper one that began to rust after a couple of years. I think this on will last much longer because it seems to be made of heavy stainless steel.

It looks nice but it smudges when touched and the fingerprints do not come off. It’s too expensive to have it looking smudged all the time. And yes I have tried various ways of cleaning it starting with a dry microfiber cloth and trying several methods up to winded and stainless steel cleaner.

Had to mount on a brick wall. Installation was utterly simple though (drilling the brick was a pain but that’s not this vendor’s problem). I do think that this vendor should include screws (for wood/siding installations). For the price of this mailbox, not including any mounting hardware is a bit “cheap” to me and takes down the “value for the money” rating by one star. I certainly understand that they can’t include all types of fasteners (brick, concrete, wood, etc) but they should include mounting hardware for wood.

The size of this mailbox is about twice as deep and a typical mailbox. Perfect for smaller Amazon packages. Also looks nice and was super easy to install. It came with a screw hole template you can tape to your wall.I suggest you use stainless steel screws so there is no rusting from the elements.

The sign number looks so exquisite and unique, but DO REMEMBER to inform the vendor to engrave on it while ordering. And be careful -this is not a locker, think about it if it works in your neighbourhood.
