It took a bit of hammering, but I fitted this to a Hue Lily for an outdoor spotlight.

Led floods and spots on tracks are great but can produce a lot of distracting glare.I ordered the PAR20BD-BK units. These units clip over PAR20 bulbs in the manner shown in my attached photos. The spring secures the units to the back of the bulb. This makes these barndoors pretty universal so long as the bulb is not deeply recessed in the track lighting can and the can has a little room around the circumference of bulb.Construction is high quality: all metal, the leaves can be positioned easily and securely. For this reason, it's a bit pricey but there's nothing else I've seen that does the job. If they could sell these for $10, these would be 5 stars!

This is a fairly well made product and all metal, but the coverage of the bar doors is a bit skimpy on the sides. I can live with that... But at this price point they are a little too much for my rather frugal tastes. I'll keep this one as I need it for a gallery space, but I won't be buying another. If it was around the $13 range, it would be worth it.

Been using these on PAR-36 (slightly smaller) and it works just fine. Its normal to consider matching a white fixture with a white barn door. I found the black to be better - no strange reflections. Too bad they don't offer this in white with black insides.

I've been looking for barn doors to add to existing track lights for some time with no luck until I found these. It should be noted that these barn doors will work with many different types and brands of fixtures because they fit directly onto the bulb, not the fixture. You simply spread apart the two springs and insert the cone of the bulb between them. The springs apply pressure to the cone (back) of the bulb, forcing the round part of the barn doors snugly onto the face of the bulb. I was then able to screw the bulb into existing track fixtures that weren't designed to accommodate barn doors. Saved a ton of money not having to replace all the track fixtures. This should work with most fixtures as long as the fixture doesn't overhang the bulb so much that it would get in the way of moving the barn doors. No issues with ventilation when using LED bulbs because they generate almost no heat. Very happy with the product!

Wish they would sell the light this fits on.

These give my house a bit of a gallery look. I have installed more lighting fixtures than normal, but used these nickel barndoors to reduce the beams so that they only illuminate certain objects in the house or certain features of the house. Thus, there is no light in anyone's face, but the house is brightly lit.
