Right off the bat, this mailbox looks and feels like it should last quite a while. Constructed of thick sheet steel with seams and attachments which are strongly riveted, this box reminds me of how a lot of things used to be made. Constructed with care and quality materials, I definitely get an impression of longevity for this unit. The woodgrain finished front panel as a very pleasant country themed, laser cut design into the center that I like. The hinge is fairly strong, with 1/8” rivets holding it at each of the two corners. The lip of the rim is bent inward to give the fingers a nice flat surface to pull up on. I really appreciate that they did not leave a sharp uncomfortable edge at that location. The red “mail waiting“ flag on the side is made from the same thick sheet steel and is well designed to hold its place until the mail carrier lifts it to let it fold back down. The kit comes with a small bag of hardware that includes four screws with anchors and what appears to be four rubber feet. The is incredibly straightforward to mount with its four screw holes (bottom two are keyhole style) on the back. There are two more holes on the bottom, which I assume are for drainage. With all that said, I couldn’t really tell what the rubber feet were for and nothing included in the kit could show me. So, when I looked at the pictures on the original listing, I discovered that these are just thick washers/spacers that go between the body of the mailbox and the mounting surface. I felt pretty stupid.Anyway, the reason we got this box is because sometimes we need a place for friends and neighbors to drop off items for us and for us to leave items for them. As most people know, the US Postal Service frowns on using the official mailbox for those kinds of activities, so this will be perfect for that purpose. All things considered, this is a nice, solid mailbox that I am sure we will get a lot of use out of.

Wow a very beautiful and great quality mail box. The front plate design is very pretty. The mounting is super easy and straightforward. So far holding up great in all weather including rain. Truly spacious unlike the tiny mailboxes on sale these days.

We were looking for a sturdy mailbox for a rental we own, one that could be placed outside the door, and this one fit the bill nicely. It's big and deep enough to hold mail, magazines and flyers, even after a few days worth. The color was perfectly matched to the redwood siding on the house. Installation was easy with the included screws and instructions. It's not the lightest box but the four screws hold it well.

I recently purchased this mailbox, and I have to say, it has exceeded my expectations! The build quality is exceptionally sturdy, crafted entirely from metal, giving it a robust feel that promises durability. Its generous size is a standout feature, easily accommodating small packages as well as handling letters and magazines of various dimensions without any hassle.Installation was a breeze; it’s designed for simplicity, making it accessible for anyone to set up. Considering the quality and features, it truly represents excellent value for the price. My wife was particularly impressed with its aesthetic appeal, and although I typically prioritize functionality, I must admit that it is undeniably an attractive mailbox.I have full confidence that it will withstand the elements, resisting rust and proving resilient over time. Overall, I can wholeheartedly recommend this mailbox; it combines practicality with style to create a fantastic product!

An elderly relative of mine is having her mailbox moved from the street onto her house so that she can more easily get her mail, so I got this lovely box for her. We really love how the design is cut out instead of just being printed on. It's made of metal that seems pretty durable, so we think it will last for a long time. We haven't had it installed yet, so I can't speak to that part. But so far, we love it!
