Works just like I had hoped it would. I have a small motorhome and I fabricated a storage container out of a 6'x6' vinyl fence post and post topper/cover and I attached with rivets these SS latches to two sides of the post and cover to secure the cover to the post. Works Great!

I used these to secure my table leaves (5 of them), but a word of warning; if you use them in line with the dowels, make sure you place the twist latch, which has a smaller spacing on the attachment screws on the dowel side as the screws may bite into the dowels.

The plastic latch on my toolbox finally gave out, and these are a great replacement. I was using Gorilla tape to hold the original latches in place, as well as Velcro straps around the handle. Now I have a secure latch that looks good. Thanks

Good quality overall....only gripe is that these do not appear to have any spring feature for maintaining pressure when closed, like others I have purchased in the past.......so mounting them has to be more exacting on location. Spring retention, in my book, is one of the requirements for this type of latch.
