We are heading to Europe in December for our second Christmas Market trip. Last year I wore a pair of ski mittens and froze! I bought a pair of wool mittens in Prague early in the trip and saved my frozen fingers from frostbite! I wanted a second pair for this trip in case my first pair gets wet. These seem to be very thick, warm and cozy. There is no better insulator than wool!!! I wear an 7 or 8 in a women's glove and these fit well.

when we were kids we had mittens from Iceland but they were not lined. these are the only gloves that have come close to those mittens. these are lined which is fantastic. super warm and you can play in the snow and never get your hands wet. I've bought two pairs, one for myself and one as a gift.

There are cuter ones out there. The fuzziness of these takes away from the hand nip pattern. I sent them back.

Be sure to measure your hands as they instruct or you’ll end up with the wrong size. They fit snug and won’t be able to slip in another pair if I happen to get cold but they are nice lined a think. I could easily wear my silk mitten liners in them though.Pretty design.

Let me tell you, these are the best gloves I've ever had. My hands did not go numb or cold once this winter, not even in the -40 degree weather we had.I was outside for 15-20 minutes just trying to take the trash out in that insane negative degree weather we had for a week, and they weren't cold at all! Stayed warm and cozy.I love these gloves so much and I'm so happy I splurged a bit and bought them! Plus, they're cute!

Far nicer, warmer, and softer inside than we expected. Ordered and arrived in 6 days, much quicker than expected. Purchased as a gift for our adult daughter living in London, UK but my wife might just keep them..EDIT: These were such a big hit for Christmas we ordered a second pair for my wife. The inner fleece lining make them incredibly soft and now that my daughter has worn hers in the nasty, cold, and wet UK winter they have proved their mettle. Both times now the order said they would take weeks but arrived in 5-6 days.

I have a wool allergy - not just the kind that makes your skin itch but the kind that makes my nose run and eyes itch when I have wool near my face (I guess it's the oils). But as I also am very sensitive to cold weather (Raynaud's), I love wool products for the dry warmth they provide. These mittens are just great for me because in addition to being beautiful, they are very, very warm and (most importantly) have a liner which I believe is made of non-wool material. As long as I keep my hands away from my face, they are just the best - so cozy warm, far warmer than any glove. I guess I should verify that the "fleece liner" is NOT made of wool (anyone?) but all I can say is it's soft and comfy and so far I have had no histamine reaction at all to the mittens. I just ordered and received another pair in a different pattern, because my daughter loves them too. They are somewhat pricey and I hope I never lose one or both, but as someone who is used to being disappointed in products far more often than pleased, I've been really impressed with how good my hands feel in them when I go out to warm up the car on below zero mornings.

These seem like they will do the job! The inside fleece is very soft and the outside is a scratchy wool but I was disappointed at how faded the colors were. Definitely not as vibrant as the pictures on Amazon! Either way, I just need warm gloves so I’ll keep them and see how they hold up to the Alaskan cold.
