This thing is great if you happen to have a Wavebird and would like to use it for Switch, as this is something that no other product on the market offers without a workaround. However, if you do not have one, I would say just check out 8bitdo's GBros adapter instead as it offers a much more clear functionality and works wirelessly with PC.I thought of buying this to replace my Mayflash wired adapter for my classic controller, as well as having a two-in-one solution for both GCN controllers and classic controllers by giving me a wireless option. Unfortunately, if you are using this for PC, you are forced to remain wired via the use of a micro USB. I have attempted to use the Bluetooth functionality, but my inputs do not work when it is connected on Bluetooth via PC. The wireless functionality is a Switch-only feature, and this alone is pretty frustrating. At the very least, I still have both Gamecube and Classic controller options for my PC with Xinput, as well as another wireless option for Switch. The adapter gives you the convenience of using the Home, Screenshot and Select (minus) buttons on the adapter itself, as controllers like the Gamecube controller do not have any of these buttons, and these are needed to navigate menus. It even offers Turbo functionality as a fun bonus. While this is very convenient to have, it is frustrating to pull this adapter out after a few months and not being able to find the sync button. The manual states that to sync via Bluetooth on Switch, you must hold the Screenshot and Home buttons at the same time during the Controller Grip screen. It's convenient that it quickly syncs, but the LED light which flashes in the center is very dim. It is very hard to tell if the product is even working.I should mention that I had not known how to sync initially because I lost my physical manual. I did not want any clutter in my desk drawer, so I had purposefully thrown away my manual like I do with other adapter boxes. I will admit that it is stupid of me to not at least keep a copy of all of my physical manuals in case an exact problem like this occurs. It is a stupid mistake on my part and a horrible habit of mine. However, most websites offer a copy of their own manual on their website. This product does not. I had to watch a YouTube video to figure out exactly what I was doing wrong. They do not offer instructions on their website either, so if you end up losing your manual by accident, you're SOL. It is an oversight of the manufacturer, and I hope they update their website with the PDF.As for my last caveat... it's not appealing to look at. I heard this was a Kickstarter project, but it's hard to see the passion in the design. It is made from cheap material, with flimsy buttons on the adapter, a dim LED for the center as I've mentioned earlier, and a rough texture on top in which dirt and liquid can get caught in and be a pain to clean out. While they try to advertise this thing as "retro" with a Mega Man-esque keychain and voxel box art, that's not the first thing that pops into my head when I look at this adapter. The first thing I think of is a cheap controller you give to your 4th friend because you can't afford a proper first-party controller for them. That's not necessarily a good first impression. However, design doesn't matter too much, as it is functional, despite the lack of a sync button. For $16, it is very cheap. I would offer this as an affordable alternative to 8Bitdo's Gbros adapter, though really Gbros is not much more expensive at $20. I say the real selling point is being able to use Wavebird controllers, as this one does not offer that luxury. Otherwise, just get Gbros instead. It is cheaper and offers wireless play for both Switch and PC.

Works good, connects fast, but this does not make the GC controller rumble like the 8BitDo GBros does, which is probable why its so much more. lol Ive tested various racing and rally games and its so weak its barely noticeable. Otherwise works fine.

I have collected a lot of extra Wii accessories and controllers from the Nintendo Mini systems and was searching for a way to use it as a USB controller. Found this and loved how easy it was to use. Didn't have to install any additional software/drivers and it worked out of the box.Worked fine with my Gamecube controller as well.

Got this cause the other one i ordered was no longer available so i tried a different brand. Looks great and tested it. Works fine but one of the ports had some wiggle. May not become an issue but only time will tell.

The analog L R do not function with this. You can soft press L or R but it does not operate at all. This should be a disclaimer.Nearly fraud if you ask me.

Great for either a Wii classic controller or a GameCube controller. Allows you to connect to the Switch wirelessly. Which also means you can use it for NES and SNES classic controllers. For the online retro library. Unless you bought a bunch of the official ones from the members only page. Otherwise the versatility of this thing is great.
