I recently adopted this tiny puppy, and with a couple of cats at home, I needed something tough that isn't the usual disposable pads or fake grass. I was kinda worried that my puppy, being so tiny, might have difficulty using it, but even though this little one weighs only 2.5 lbs, she goes up and uses without any problems. Looks like it's solid enough to last for a long time without concerns of scratching or tearing.One tip I'd like to share is don't expect pets to figure it out on its own. In my case, besides following the training video, I purchased a puppy gate/playpen to create a closed-off space for potty training. I separated the bed and the potty area inside the gate, and the puppy instinctively started using the tray for the bathroom. Of course, there are some accidents when the puppy ventures outside the gate and explores the house, but as she becomes more familiar with the home layout and the texture of this potty area, she will figure it out eventually. I'm very satisfied with the product, it's exactly what I was looking for.

Unfortunately, I had to return this because my dog would not even get on it. The bottom portion of this would not be very comfortable, I wouldn’t think, for a dog to walk on. It’s a great idea, but they need to do something else with the bottom where the dog walks.

We have a beagle who is a little bit older and unfortunately is going through some health issues. One of the side-effects of his medication is that he drinks a lot more water and goes to the bathroom more often. This can be very tough for him when we are at work and out of the house for several hours. We found this product and decided to give it a try. It has been incredible for us and our boy! He took to the pee pad right away, and has no hesitation using it. He knows that he can go to the bathroom during the day without fear of having an accident or holding it for too long. Cleanup with this product is extremely easy too. We can rinse it with the garden hose or even in the bathtub. Durability seems great, and everything came as advertised. We are so happy to have some peace of mind with this issue. We will continue using this for our beagle, and will be saving it for any new puppies in the future. 100% recommend this product for both young puppies and older dogs!

I have been spending close to $300 each year for my dog's pee pad. With everything else, the cost really adds up. I've tried the fake grass type before and it was kinda gross. I decided to spend a little more money this time and ordered this which seemed simple and clean enough to maintain. I followed the instruction and my dog learned to use it within just a few days. Sure it is a little more work to take it outside, hose it down rather than simply folding the pad and throwing it away, but after about one month of use, I've gotten quite used to it. I am so satisfied that this product works and I can save a lot of money not buying the pads every month! I can tell this product will last for a long time as it is very sturdy.Another problem I had was that my dog persistently made mistakes from time to time by peeing on the edges of the pee pad. Even though we have a hardwood floor, this has caused us so much stress. If we don't clean it right away, it can ruin the hardwood floor by the urine seeping into the grooves. I am so happy that now the problem has been solved! I believe it is because this product sets a clear boundary by its color and its raised texture. My dog hasn't had a single accident (peeing on the edges) since we started using this product.Overall, I am so glad I found this product and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who wants to save a lot of money over the long haul.
