Upon receiving, both wires to the digital amp display were not connected! Not wiring schematic so I am not sure which goes where ? No paperwork to speak of just a box with the parts and the wiring. Come on ! Really !

Worked well with my setup. Had no problem with controlling the trolling motor. Easy to use.

Ip67 rated with holes drilled in the box? Can you say false advertising? And loose wires floating around in box. Why would you pay for waterproof wiring on one end of the box with holes on the other? Avoid if you need a waterproof pwm.

They claim it’s water proof but it has 3 holes drilled in the side, they also send me 2 female ends to the connectors. Once I got it running it lasted about 30 mins of running then stopped and wouldn’t turn back on. Don’t waste your money

Haven’t hooked it up yet but box and external connectors seem well made and sealed well. Inside of box is another story. Opened up box to find: 1) positive and negative from battery connection crossed which would have fried the capacitors instantly if I had of just hooked it up as it came 2) one of the wires from fan wasn’t connected to anything 3) black wire from switch had been flattened when box was closed from seller

I hope they bring an improved version of this back because it’s tough to DIY something that is clean like this for much less the price. By the time you get decent waterproof connectors (these are actually pretty good), a solid and tough case that doesn’t look like a repurposed tackle box, a solid PWM with a fan, waterproof wire inserts and a nice big waterproof forward/reverse switch (much better than the small ones with most PWM), you are getting close to the cost of this. I don’t mind piecing stuff together but I like my kayak to be clean and organized so this was a quick solution, it’s good enough. If they improve the following I might buy it again! The display is tough to see on a full moon night, day time is impossible. It’s big and bulky, most PWM are but I think even a slight reduction in height would be good. The case is pretty primitive, scratched up, and the fan hole is really sloppy, none of which correlates to the price tag, it looks like a prototype. There should be somewhere for cool air to enter, otherwise the fan is kind of useless. GIVE PEOPLE THE RIGHT PARTS! Come on, at this price we certainly deserve the correct parts. Speaking of….If you received only male pieces or only female pieces for the connectors, look up 50A 600V Waterproof Connector Kit and contact the company as they credited me the cost (said they would anyway). They are pretty solid connectors that aren’t difficult to get apart with wet hands so I’d recommend them even if doing DIY.
