Connected to our Starlink to get a signal out further on the property than our router can transmit. We get a good clean signal out to the property line which is 600 feet from the Wavlink.

It works great. You do need a Ethernet cable between this unit and an older router. If you have a router with EasyMesh the cable is not required.

This wifi extender is BIG, and I'm not sure why, but if that's what makes it work well, then fine. I've had it running for a week as an extender and it works fine. It definitely has a stronger signal than the household one that I used to have running in the same place, which is more likely due to the very large antennae. I do like that it's POE, but I wish that it had another outlet to work as a bridge. It was easy to set up and really didn't require anything special to get going. It's pricey for just an extender.

I used this to cover parts of my yard hundreds of feet from my house (~2-300). It did the job amazingly, removing the need for other range household wifi range extenders. I have it join my starlink network and broadcast on the same ssid, which it does well.As far as install goes, it is easier and faster to setup than most modern routers. It's provided POE injector is also very simple to use. Lastly, it is a tank!

Wow, this is one awesome outdoor WiFI access point in my opinion! It was relatively simple for me to install and configure since I have a lot of computer networking experience. The unit is well made and high quality throughout with regard to its design and construction, and it is seemingly durable to be outside in the elements for the long term. The signal is nice and strong and the speed is fast with excellent coverage of my entire property. Only time will tell how long it will last with the weather changes, but for now my impression is very positive. Therefore, this product earns my five star blessing and recommendation for sure!

Excellent product! We have tried several other wifi repeaters for our AirBnb, and none come close to the range and speed of this one! It covers our entire 5 acre property without any latency, and is able to support Netflix, internet, etc. on multiple devices even 400 ft. away on the backside of our barn where the rental is located.

I've been using the WAVLINK AX1800 Outdoor WiFi 6 Extender for a couple months now, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're looking for a long-range outdoor WiFi extender that can handle multiple devices, tough weather, and high-speed connections, this is a fantastic unit.PROS:• The speed and stability are noticeably improved. Streaming 4K video, running smart home devices, and video conferencing (Zoom calls), gaming, all stay connected with minimal lag, even when the whole family is online.• The 4x 8dBi high-gain antennas really do their job. I'm getting excellent coverage across my backyard and even into our front yard garage, places where our signal used to drop regularly.• The IP67 rating gives me confidence. It’s been through quit a few heavy rainstorms and blistering sun over here in Hawaii… and still shows no signs of wear. Definitely built to withstand harsh outdoor conditions.• It claims support for up to 128 devices, and while I haven’t hit that number (and never will), I’ve had many devices connected simultaneously with zero issues.• It’s great that the WAVLINK AX1800 includes the option for Active PoE, it will make installation cleaner and simpler for those who don’t want to run an outlet near the extender unit. I, however, already have power located outside for this extender.Small Cons:• The initial setup via the web interface will take a bit of patience for the non-tech-savvy users, however I have been in the tech industry for the last 45 years and it was simple and straight forward to me.• It’s a bit bulky, so, choose your mounting location wisely. In summary:If you need reliable, high-speed WiFi outside, whether for a backyard office, smart home gear, or just solid coverage during BBQs (my favorite thing to do all-year-round), this extender is absolutely worth the investment. It's fast, rugged, and future-proof with WiFi 6.I highly recommended!
