Easy to program, good right out of the box. The longitude and latitude may not be right on target for you, particularly for tides or sunset, sunrise, but it really works well and is functional right out of the box.

I put this on my tall bureau and I read it as I'm getting dressed. It helps me know what to wear for the day. I love the sunrise/sunset feature to know when to ride my bicycle or take a walk before it gets too dark. The barometric pressure also keys me into the upcoming weather. A great buy for the money.

The outdoor sensor consistently reported temperatures 7 degrees above the actual and since (until we realised what was happening) we relied upon it, it caused us significant problems. It also made ridiculous weather predictions (thunderstorms instead of snow). However, I contacted the company and they immediately dispatched a new sensor, no questions asked. Amazing customer service and an excellent product.

Works really well no problems, very easy setup, accuracy is 1 degree off but that could be the position inside near the door.

This was purchased as a gift for my husband who loves to track the weather on a daily basis. After reading the reviews I was sold, but had to wait until Christmas to judge for ourselves. While the functions that seem to be working are accurate, this was not easy to set up. You may be smarter than us and not have a problem. The readability is kind of iffy. The screen clarity shown on the product screen is not what we see in our home. The brightness is fine but you need to read this up close. So, for the basics, we are keeping it, but we would not buy it again.

so far works well the temp digits smaller numericals are bit to small to see from distance, the altitude in joburg s africa , we at approx 5700 ft above sea level, after battling for some time i managed to re calibrate the barometer settings at 1013mmbar for altitude of 5700ft the seller was unable to advice me on that, and instructions do not list calibration at all, the screen not clear from a different angle, so if u in bed looking at it you have prop it up a bit to obtain correct angle , so to correct that i used a 3mm pad under the legs which tilts angle down, so if im in bed i now have perfect view .michael joburg s.africa

I just ordered this weather station to replace my old unit which was broken. I really like it, the colored screen is nice with lots of information and easy to read. I did compare the inside and outside temperature with a professional thermometer and it seems quite accurate. Atmospheric pressure is also according to my area. It was very easy to setup. Now let’s see how long it will last compared to my old one which was 8 years old.the only thing why I didn’t give five stars it’s because the outside sensor is not waterproof, which is not acceptable. On the other side I would like to mention that the service is outstanding which is rare these days. After contacting Newentor regarding the outside sensor, I had a answer the next day and a new remote sensor was shipped to my address in Canada couple of days later. Truly amazing!

I needed a weather station for our RV, as we camp a great deal in remote locations. We live on the coast, and our home weather station by Newentor has been great, so I searched for another one. To my surprise, I saw they added one with sunrise / sunset and tide info. I had sought those features when I ordered our first one, but could not find one I liked.Ordered the new one with the plan that the older home device can go to the RV, and the new one will give us tide info we usually get from our old fashioned tide clock and iPhone apps, as well as location based sunrise / sunset info. Some observations:- Form factor is smaller, which means it takes up less counter space (see included side-by-side image)- Buttons / controls similar, but simplified- Bright, beautiful display!- I found the set up easier than the one we've had for a couple of years- It requires either a city code from list, or (in my case) manual input of Lat / Long information for location- Tide indication is right on the mark with our other sources of info- Both share one remote sensor for info, which is cool if I had a larger home and wanted one a station in two different locations- Has AAA batteries for wall power backup instead of AA.- I learned the hard way not to forget to put batteries in before you set the device parameters. Then had to do it all over when I moved it. ;-)Over all, I really like this unit and it should work out great! Highly recommend.

This weather station is jam packed with all sorts of useful information. It seems like putting it on your nightstand is the perfect application, because it as an light sensor that can dim the screen, and is capable of giving you all sorts of information that would be useful for your day. It can show you outside and current temps, both of which seem fairly accurate as I left them next to each other overnight and they are within a degree of each other. It has a list of cities, and if your city is not in the provided list, you can enter your longitude and latitude and get a more accurate sunrise and sunset time for your day. It can even function as an alarm clock. The setup guide was super informative, and easy to follow along with. It has a built in stand which allows it to be free standing, or you can mount it on a wall. it comes with the power adapter, but can also take two AAA batteries to power itself on its own. The outdoor sensor takes two AA batteries so it’s important to know that you need both types. it also calculates the air moisture and gives you a mold risk.I’m super happy with it. It’s small yet, All the information is clearly visible and easy to look and know exactly what you want to know. if you have any other Newentor products, it’s good to know that the wireless sensor is not backwards compatible with them so if you have a previous weather station, you cannot use the same sensor. i’m going to put the sensor outside now and I will update the review once it is acclimated to outdoors if I need to.EDIT: It appears i was wrong initially, the wireless sensor is backwards compatible with other newentor weather stations. I currently have my first one cycling through both sensors, and it’s quite useful. I am a fan of this of this new weather station, since the adaptive brightness makes it easier to sleep in a dark room
