Once you put these strips on the area they’re there to stay!. They worked extremely well for my old doors in our home, have noticed a big improvement in keeping the cold air outside. So if that’s one of your concerns it works really well!!

This product is very durable for the winter soft enough for the dot to shut and open without peeling off, thick enough to keep the cold breeze out .

Just installed two straps of this foam today. It was easy to install. Only time will tell how well it holds up.

This has just the right amount of “squish” for my purpose. It’s not super soft like some foam tapes and not too firm. Good adhesive and easy to cut.

The glue stays with the foam instead of with the paper liner, and it follows the foam without leaving residue if you need to lift it off and reposition it after applying to your surface. With weatherstripping, the glue is probably the most variable aspect, this one is great.Note that this type of foam (closed cell) is great for avoiding fungus and contaminations, but it will not easily compress, plan to use it with only 10-20% compression at best, much force is required to compress it any more. The surface is not sticky, but is sufficiently smooth that it will form a great seal.

Installing was a breeze. Sound proofing I will is not say it's something this helps with. Adhesive strength is good.
