I hate giving bad reviews, so here's the good and the bad:Good:*Inexpensive*It's metal, and very sturdy*the telescoping mechanism works really well*It works as a camera holder, but you have to tinker with the level to make sure the picture is properly framed and not at a goofy angle.Now the bad. Some context though: I think it's likely the one I sent was a returned item.*It's just crooked. The screw holes are not properly aligned internally, so the stand has a noticeable lean to it.*The base was dirty/dusty (reason I think it was a returned item)*Part of the plastic on the phone mount/holder was broken. It doesn't effect the functionality of the holder at all, but a piece of the plastic arrived broken off.It works, I'm going to use it, but the quality control from the manufacturer appears to be lacking.Review update (4/18/2025).The seller of the product reached out, and immediately replaced the item with a new unit even after I explained it was not necessary to do so. The stand functioned fine originally, it just leaned. The unit itself is fairly simple, but it's extremely sturdy. The replacement unit is in perfect condition, straight/plum, without defects.I've been using Amazon for a long time (I've been an Amazon Prime member since before Amazon Prime included streaming video, if that tells you anything). I've never had such an easy & quick interaction with a seller before. The stand itself is a 4 star stand, the seller is 10 stars as far as I'm concerned. Very proactive in customer satisfaction. Not many sellers like that nowadays. Fantastic job.
