I keep it on my mike tool box and I use it often. I like the valve head and the way it screws onto the valve stem. the hand is comfortable to pump. the gauge is easy to read.

Being the organizer and leader of a large social bicycle club here in Fort Lauderdale with over 1750 members, over 100 official tours and growing daily, the safety, health and well-being of our riders is always priority one. The same goes for our mounts as well. It is discussed before every slow roll. And one thing all my members know about me is that I love customization and personalization. And if it serves both safety and customization then roll on I say! My local bike shop Cycling Forza in Coral Springs could tell you how much they make from our patronage. We spend tons on toys and accessories that just make the rides more fun, more enjoyable, more convenient. And not just for technical stuff but for lots of other fun stuff as well, gadgets, toys and accessories are always welcome. I like to gift away some small safety item to our new members at the beginning of each slow roll, most often it will be a safety whistle to wear while riding. Sometimes the gifting goes to another level. It might be a lighting kit, a set of pedals or grips, locking kits, occasionally even a pair of gloves or a helmet. I encourage my members to keep their mounts very well maintained in order to not get left behind (in reality we would never let anyone get left behind). Anything that keeps you out of danger and improves the experience of riding is for us. And what could ruin a ride faster than a flat tire? Not having air to inflate the repair. So this WEST BIKING Updated Tire Pump can come in very handy in an emergency. I am finding this pump to be a bit long or tall for storage on the bike. This will be more appropriate for keeping in the Jeep for use just before our slow rolls. It seems very petite, very diminutive. I was expecting something much beefier or more thickness. So at first I was unsure, expecting disappointment. But once I gave it a once over I was fairly impressed. As thin as it is it still puts out some decent power. It offers a very long stroke with sufficient pressure. The foot stabilizer bar is very thin but works. The hose is quite long enough for just about any reach. The dual head feature for both presta and schraeder valves screw in rather than clamps. This seems to work just fine. No changing out nozzles, no losing bits and pieces. What I was really wowed by is the built in pressure gage on the hose. It is an awesome feature that works fairly well. I felt that the pressures indicated by the gage are in the general area of the actual tire pressure. It is not exactly spot on. I always go by the feel of the tire anyway. But still a very cool feature. Overall it's very much worth the price. It will not beat an electric tire pump or compressor. Beats not having anything. Always be ready for the unexpected I always say. And as always remember:Ride Safe, Ride Strong. Ride Happy!!

This is a floor pump that has a fold-down metal loop for bracing the pump with your foot. It is not a pump that you would take on a bike ride with you. The dual-sided pump head will fit Schrader and Presta valve stems. It also comes with adapters for blowing up balls, and other inflatable objects. The hose has a built-in pressure gauge with PSI measures on both sides. An easy improvement would be to have PSI on one side, and Bar pressure marking on the second side. It makes no sense to me why it is not marked in both measurement systems. To use the pump, you rest it on the ground or floor, and flip down the foot brace. The handle is simply a plastic ball at the end of the pump arm that you grasp with your hand. It has a long stroke which quickly filled a 700x28C (28 x 622) tire requiring 46 strokes to go from empty to 105 psi (7.25 bar). The product information claims gauge accuracy of +/- 2.5 psi (0.2 bar) and I found this pump's gauge well within that specification. The other pumps I use have a press fit or latch seal onto a Presta valve stems. This pump did not hold the seal very well when pressed on. I needed to screw the valve on to get a good seal and quicker inflation of a bike tire. I was afraid that I would lose air pressure unscrewing the valve, but found no more loss than with a press fit or latch lock head. The English manual is very poor and should get copy edited by a native English speaker.

This bike pump made a hard and tedious job so easy and fast. I compared my old pump, which was so bulky and leaky, to this one and the difference was night and day. This pump inflated my bike’s tires immediately and the other one seemingly took forever. This pump is also much smaller - I can easily pack it in my backpack for bike rides or in the bag that’s in the trunk of my car for longer treks. I highly recommend it!
