Let me start out by saying that it is very difficult to find an extended tub spout with a diverter, so I was estatic to find this one. I actually need one that has at least an 8" reach. However, I made it work by adding the Westbrass high box escutcheon to extend this spout by another 1.5". The spout seems sturdy. The spout does leak a bit after diverting to the handshower, but that's fairly common and not an issue for me. The price was just right and a lot more affordable than some other extended spouts I came across.

We purchased this tub spout because the previous spout dripped water outside of the tub making a mess. This longer spout controls water to the tub area.

When use the shower you need to push the converter up manual from the faucet, cannot just pull up the converter from the top

Submitted a return after 20 minutes receiving. I took it out of package and it looked like it was used and it was broken after it was installed. This buyer should be banned immediately!!!

I bought this tub spout for its extra length (7-inches) As you would expect, I had to create a custom 1/2" nipple to reach the coupling at the wall (normal plumbing)

Exactly what I needed. Just twist off the old one. A little plumbing tape, and twist on the new one. The length is nice for a tub that juts out from the wall a bit.
