This arrived on time, was as described and was easy to put together. Works as described. Have only had it a short time, so we'll have to see how it holds up over time/seasons.

This is a good base for the wikiwiki umbrella. When filling with sand use general purpose sand, not play sand.

This one was a little more expensive than some of the others but I wanted to be sure it would fit with my wikiwiki umbrella. We mixed sand and water in each of the squares to make sure we had enough weight and it is holding the umbrella with no problem.

If you have an umbrella this is necessary. It’s pretty big and takes up some space but ifs great to know you’re umbrella isn’t going to fall on your deck or patio and wreak havoc

The Compact Base (230 LBs) works great with my wiki Series S cantilever 8.2’ patio umbrella. I found that cutting the bottom off of a 64 ounce widemouth juice bottle made for a perfect funnel for getting sand inside the base. The bottle literally screwed right into the opening. I added a couple of pieces of gaffer tape on either side for stability, but I probably didn’t even need that. You’ll need some kind of a stick or pole to push the sand through. Still a bit of a time, consuming and tedious process, but it works. I believe using sand will provide better longevity than water.

Good sturdy base with no leaks as of a week. Good price. Holds down a 10' umbrella in snuggly. Quick wind test 5 to 10 mph this weekend and it didn't budge. If you can only find wet sand you will up the level of difficulty as the fill hole is small. Flexible cup and a few extra minutes it all worked out.

I filled mine with water, I made sure they were equally filled and slid them on and poof, these have been outstanding and have NOT LEAKED. I’ve had zero issues with holding my umbrella in HIGH WINDS, Storms and even SNOW! Perfectly safe and secure! They take up a ton of room so plan accordingly if you have a small space.Personally, I’d choose safety and security over space anyday but that’s just me.

This base works great. Each corner used just under a 50lb of sand (used a funnel to fill). With the wind blowing it held the umbrella just fine. The base seems well made and the plug has an o-ring for a water proof seal. To have the full weight of 230lbs I'd also have to add water to each corner but honestly with almost 200lbs of sand I figured it would be plenty of support.
