I used this cover for the safety chains that secure the vehicle to a car dolly. They keep the chains from damaging the rims of the vehicle when in transit. The material seems to be fairly robust. When cutting the material be sure to seal the ends with a heat gun to prevent fraying. Good product.

This product is a great tool for daily use or whenever particular duties are in service involving a rope being maneuvered with force or under pressure. This sleeve protects different sorts of ropes that are being used in different environments and applications. I'm using this along with a winch on an ATV. This product is so helpful. I recommend that anyone using a form of rope with pounds of pressure pulling it in the process, then this sleeve should be applied according to the appropriate size. I like this product because of its potential. I recommend this product because it is as described and it works without issue.

I used this to wrap around a stainless steel chain. The chain is used to secure my kayak to the roof of my car.This sleeve perfectly fits the chain (check the width of your chain before buying). The sleeve protects against the chain hitting the roof of my car and possibly damaging the paint. An added bonus is the sleeve dampens the noise that the chain normally would make.Well worth the price, would definitely buy again

This winch rope protectorive sleeve is made of a coarse woven black polyester. It is 5cm wide and 2 meters long. The high peformance sleeve will help protect synthetic winch rope from abrasion and wear. The sleeve is oil resistant and durable. The sleeve can be cut to length to fit soft shackles or winch ropes as needed.Would recommend this to anyone.
