These have helped tremendously with the cooler spots at the corners of the griddle. The griddle is now evenly heated and cooks even quicker and more efficient. Definitely recommend purchasing these.

The wind guards work great and definitely increased the heat dispersion to the griddle. The magnets seem to hold well and I've done three cooks with the attachments on. Really happy with the product.

The magnets are quite strong and it takes less than 20 seconds to install all four of the wind guards. The air slot openings face downward so even a light rain will not interfere with the fire inside the griddle. They work very well.

Great purchase for the gas flat griddle. Windy where I live, so it helps keep the gas flames from blowing around. Easy install, just had to remove side tables first, then reattach side tables. Really helps to retain heat from getting side table items hot. Does not restrict airflow. Under the grill is open air.

These work well to keep a breeze or wind off the flames. Keeps temperature hotter with low flame.

I recently won a Blackstone Griddle (with lid) in a fund raiser raffle. Overjoyed until I realized all the things that needed adding. After the first few uses, I realized that my patio does a good job of funneling any breeze into a nice wind - time to search for windguards, I could hear the flames fighting the wind.I found this Upgraded Magnetic Wind Guards for 28" Blackstone Griddle and ordered it. Delivery was quick and the product well packaged. The wind guards are steel (probably stainless) with a nice powder coating finish and magnets to attach to the iron griddle.But, no instructions. I'm old school - I prefer written instructions rather than searching back on line for something. Granted, these are not difficult to figure out but, here's a clue - the LONG guards do not go on the long edges of the griddle according to the description on their sale page. Long along the side and the two short ones go on the back, leaving room for the grease drain.Unfortunately, things didn't work out. The long ones are too long for the sides (by just a bit) and the two back ones are longer than the griddle - bumped together they are a bit longer than the back. That means that leaving room for the grease drain would have the guards pushed out at least an inch on each side. (see last two photos (I moved the guards to the top of the hood for a better photo)). I don't know if that means the wrong guards were sent, they have manufacturing issues, or I am more clueless than I thought.I ended up moving the short guards to the sides - block most wind and still allow airflow. A long guard went across the front - provides a fair amount of wind block and minimizes the heat coming right at the chef.Based on functionality and quality of materials, I rate these high. Based on quality control (if the sizing is wrong) and instructions (if I'm not doing it right), then middle of the road rating. Averaged out that I consider these a good buy - just know you may have to make adjustments.
