How to Apply Screen Cloth to Assembled Frame
Prepare Screen Cloth
Place assembled frame with spline grooves up. Center screen cloth over frame
- Cut screen cloth to overlap all four (4) sides of frame by at least one inch
Align Spline at Corner Position
Start at corner and using a spline roller tool, roll spline into spline groove. Force the screen cloth into the groove. Work around frame ending where you started. Cut off excess spline
Trim
Trim off excess screen cloth with a sharp utility knife

Making large screen panels, was very disappointed when I went to complete the last screen panel and found slits in my measured piece. Went to use a 2nd roll and found slits again, this time at 6" in and again at 12" in. Fortunately I had purchased the 2nd roll for a separate project and was able to complete the first (which should have only needed one roll). I will need to buy more screening for the second project now

I was very impressed with this fiberglass mesh screen roll. It was easy to install and it fits perfectly in my patio door frame. The screen is very sturdy and I'm confident that it will last for many years. First time replacing screens on our new house. This screen is very well made and arrived in a roll in a long box. So no dumb creases in the fabric✨ our other screens were sooo brittle with holes/breakage so this finally makes the house look polished!

I just got this product on today and I will say right out of the package that I am impressed and I really do like it. I have some areas of screening on my lanai that need to be replaced and that is why I got this. It looks to be of a higher quality and then even the current match that I have up is so that's a bonus. I haven't installed it yet but I will update if anything goes wrong or if the quality isn't what I think it is.

I got this to use in a little diy project on my front porch, I’m going to block off the right side with some plywood but I wanted the top quarter to be screen instead of wood all the way up. I don’t k ow what is up with the weather the last six months or so, but we have had some seriously high winds where I live, and it’s like every other day. I live in a valley between two mountains so you wouldn’t think it would be that bad but lately it has been, it’s awful. Like, breaking tree branches and ripping off peoples shingles and vinyl siding type of high winds. Coupled with cold winter temps, it’s just brutal standing on the porch at 730 am waiting on the school bus. The winds always blow from the right, so I’m blocking it off this spring so it won’t be so bad next winter. This roll of screen was just what I needed. It’s nice and thick, feels very sturdy. Some of our window screens are thin and feel like you could poke your finger right thru them-that is not the case with this. It was easy to cut the length I needed, and just staple all around to hold it in place. Obviously to replace window screens you would measure what you needed and use a splining tool to roll it in place. This screen will still let air thru to ventilate, but it will block almost all bugs. Gnats might be able to make it thru, maybe. And you get a huge roll, it would be enough to do several rooms worth of windows. Very happy with this screen, I’d definitely recommend it.
