I shopped for a wheel lock for my trailer, but the cheaper wheel locks appeared too small. This one will fit any trailer tire. It’s big.Excellent product.

Bought both a steering wheel Club and this one for the tire. Very visible. Thieves want to take vehicles quickly so decided to buy two deterrents. Very easy and quick to put onto your tire and take it off. Glad I bought this product.

I have 2 of these tire locks plus 2 steering wheel locks. I understand these are not 100%, anything can be cut off, but if the thief’s see these devices maybe they will just walk away.My truck did get broken into and I guess they saw the Club steering wheel lock and walked away. Inexpensive locks, about $200 for each vehicle. The only issue is the occasional freezing of the tire lock here in Ontario. Highly recommend any physical lock for your car especially the club family of locks. The club 491 fits my pick up tires which are pretty big.The Club 3000 steering wheel lock is easy and inexpensive.

Can be deployed in 1-2 seconds without any effort, which is why I bought it. The materials are higher gauge than I thought/expected. I rate a 4 of 5 because there isn't a lug nut protector plate included and the cost to buy that separate seems disproportionate to the price of the tire claw itself.

This was not the correct size for my trailer application, so I have returned it and ordered the next larger size. I was impressed with the keys, locking mechanism, stoutness and simplicity, so I didn't see any reason to try a different brand. Had I not been impressed, I would have returned The Claw and tried a different brand and design. My only criticism is that I am disappointed by the lack of clearly defined dimension information in the product description. If the description had been more clear, I would have selected the larger size the first time. Even some of the customer reviews regarding dimensions and applications were misleading. For the record, my trailer tires are ST205/75/D15. The Club 493 Claw almost fit, so if you have a similar size, get The Club 491 Claw.

Works just as advertised. Seems to be built heavy duty enough. Also a great visual deterrent. A determined thief could just remove the wheel, and if you drove off with this on, it would be a loud, horrible, mangled mess. They'd hopefully move on to a much easier score. So, this along with a trailer hitch lockout makes me sleep better at night. The Tire Claw locks and unlocks smoothly, and is plenty wide enough for my large horse trailer tires. Compact, and flat enough that it stores easily outta the way when not in use. Simple design that works great.

This will fit the front tire of most motorcycles. but definitely not the rear tire. it states it fits 60 width tires, but it does not, surely. That said, the build quality is good, and does definitely give you peace of mind that it secures your motorcycle when you are fast asleep. Its got some rubbery coating at the front end of the claw ( the one that is black in color) and that really helps keeping your wheel rims scratchless. Its got to do more as a visual deterrent than anything else to eb frank, have not tried it, but does feel that a heftly man can definitely pull it apart.Id recommend a buy. better than the disc lock brakes honestly.

The hardest thing was getting the item out of the plastic that it came in. Other than that: it unlocked, open and locked onto our trailer wheel very smoothly. We have a popup trailer parked in our driveway and since it's so small and lightweight we thought a theft deterrent would be good to have. We also plan to use this at campsites when we may take off in the car and leave the trailer. Maybe a determined thief could figure out how to remove this, but for our little trailer we don't expect determined thieves as much as, say, vandals or opportunists. This should do the trick for our purposes.

Most anti-theft devices for RV trailer's are directed at the tongue. Not bad for casual theft, but ball hitch locks can be bypassed by just hooking up the chains to the rear of a vehicle. The Claw, on the other hand, can't be bypassed very well. Nor can it be cut off very easily. It's easy to use: just unlock it and clamp it around a wheel. That's it. It's built well - very sturdy! A small price to pay for peace of mind and a lot easier to apply than all of those hitch locks. You get 3 or 4 keys to the essentially pick-proof lock. I think it works best if you have spokes in your wheel. Oh, make sure you get the right size. The #491 is the larger of the two sizes.

I purchased the claw about six months ago, since then sold it to a relative and it has been in use every since. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to deter a thief. The features of it are wonderful, and heck it's cheaper now than what I paid for it a few months back by ten dollars. At any rate, well worth the money.More about the item. Sturdy. Rugged. Durable. Reliable. It comes with three keys, wonderful since they cannot be duplicated. A small cover over the lock to ensure moisture doesn't ruin the mechanisms. Prominent enough to be easily recognized.A little known fact about cars, or perhaps not thought about. If you have a FWD car, place the device on the front wheel since this is where your drive axle is and thief would not only have to remove the tire claw from the vehicle, but also hot wire the car or burst the steering column in order to steal the vehicle. The opposite is true for a RWD vehicle. An AWD drive vehicle either/or, is just as grand.Side note/freebie: The repossession man, most likely with a creeper on his/her truck, can't tow a front-wheel drive vehicle from the back since it will strip the transmission. A rear-wheel drive vehicle (most trucks) cannot be towed from the front. It takes too long to place it on a flatbed, and defeats the purpose of the speedy recovery. Someone may say, well they may have dolly wheels. Correct. But you can't speed down the freeway with those on a car.Note: There are two different sizes for the tire claw. Be sure to order the correct one. The one (XL) or 491 model fits around most car tires and probably some truck tires. You can check the specifications on another site to verify. The 493 model is designed for smaller tires, such as motorcycles and dirt bikes. Make your choice correctly and wisely or you will definitely be disappointed.Second review, hope it helped somebody.I'M MR.COPPER. THAT'S MY TWO CENTS. NOW SPEND IT WISELY.
