This little cabasa works well for its smaller size. It's a bit small for my adult hands, but it sounds pretty good. It's not as loud as the larger one I have, but this one seems good for small gigs or recording.

This little percussion instrument is perfectly sized for children's hands, so I imagine it would fit in nicely in an elementary music classroom. The sound is good, considering the low price. My concern is build quality: the handle really just screws into the main part of the instrument, and if you turn it, you can unscrew it, which also allows the top piece of the instrument to come off. Considering the way the instrument is played -- which involves rotating the handle back and forth -- I worry that it will loosen quickly and easily, especially in the hands of young children.

I like the size in the prize.Obviously you have to compromise a little bit on the sound. However relatively to its size the sound is good!
