The set is cute and I like the bell and xylophone BUT the blocks slide out of place every time I put a marble in play. Also there aren’t enough track pieces. Which I should have double checked before I purchased but yeah I wish there were more straight track pieces.

The marble run is a good size for younger kids and it comes with suggested setups that are fun to build. From there, there are lots of options for kids to imagine. The reason for taking a star off is the pieces are too light, so they are not only easy for little hands to bump out of place but the moving marble can shift them. On straight runs that's not such a problem, but on curves it can push the curve piece out of place on the first run. Worse, it can do so before the marble exits, so it doesn't even complete the run as a key piece has shifted. With heavier blocks, it's an easy 5 stars. But, I've seen this irritating shift almost every time extra bracing isn't used. So, if you get this, be prepared to shore it up a little to keep it from shifting.

My husband and daughter both love playing with this toy! You can be very creative in the way you want to build the marble run. There are so many pieces and fun add-ons, like the stairs and bell to try to work into your maze. Great problem-solving skills, be learned through this toy. The quality of the wood blocks is great. The coloring is beautiful. It would make a great gift. We are considering it part of my kindergartners‘s homeschool activities

My grandkids play with this block set for hours every time they come over and it is too cold outside for them to play. The blocks are nicely cut and finished, and stack easily. I have a small tote we store them in. The kids play for hours figuring out different ways to make the marbles roll around their course. The different shapes and sizes make for endless configurations.

I was so so excited to get this for my kids this Christmas and we immediately opened it up to build the track but the blocks are so light weight that’s the marbles move it around and knock it over as their going through or down the course. For the price you pay for this should not happen. Don’t waste your money. Also the marble get caught on one of the zig zag tracks because it wasn’t put together correctly I guess. My husband is trying to sand that piece down so that their marbles will actually go down it. So disappointed in the product

I got this for boy scouts who have a marble badge they have to earn. Anyways, I got this kit and another and 6 kids were able to make a great maze and even adults had fun.

The blocks are very nice. Solid, smooth edges, well colored. If this was just a block set it would be five star. Good variety. The marble run part is where the issue comes in. The marbles are very light, and because the pieces don't actually click together like a plastic set, they are very prone to getting stuck. And because of the designs, it isn't always somewhere you can reach them to just give them a little push. Certain pieces/piece combos are worse than others. It's not a total deal breaker at all (and I do want to try heavier glass marbles and see if they help) but a child might be a little disappointed that some of the example designs don't work super consistently or smoothly.

i got this wooden marble set for my kid, and it’s been pretty fun overall. blocks feel really sturdy, good quality wood, and the pieces are nice and smooth so no worries about splinters. setting it up was fun but took some trial and error, you know? some pieces slide together easy, others take a bit of adjusting to get the marble rolling right. i was hoping for more marbles—only came with four, which can feel a bit limiting if you're trying to get creative with the tracks.but my kiddo loves experimenting with it, trying different track ideas and all that, and it’s cool to see them figuring out how things work together. it's not a quick setup kinda toy; more like one of those that teaches patience, but that’s okay. i’d say it's best for kids who don’t mind a bit of challenge while playing.
