My daughter's pre school class love these. Sometimes when they line up they get their whistles and play train. Wrote the kid's name on them. Nothing more fun than 8 little kids walking in a line blowing their train whistles.

Purchased for an anniversary of an organization that had an event at a converted train station. Thought it would be a nice remembrance gift. Small whistle, good size to put in a gift bag. Sounds like a train whistle and can get loud. Would be great gifts at a birthday party as well.

The wood moves and can cover the holes but these are awesome🩶! Nice wooden construction with an authentic train sound! Worth the purchase!

I bought these for an activity and event that I was doing for a train theme and bought these for the kids to blow and have the train whistle effect. I have to say they came quick and were each individually wrapped but the only bad thing i would say was that you do have to be careful when blowing into them some have the wood slinters and would hate to have one caught on my lips but still over all a great buy for kids who love trains or as prizes also great quality and super cute.

From the photo: dud on the left, good one on the right. The ones that work are great! But we did receive a few duds. Looks like shoddy workmanship on the ones that don’t work. The dowels don’t fit snuggly in the holes, so they don’t produce any sound. May try to fix with new dowels. For the price I would buy again even with a few duds.

I stamped them with our Vintage Machinery club name and sold them for $3 to people riding on the miniature train for souvenirs .

I’ve read a few messages about how some said they couldn’t get it to work. Honestly as long as you only put your bottom lip below the holes and blow through the two holes then they work fine. Basically don’t treat it like you would a recorder.Main complaints as they say USA (were on the Canadian site but I get that’s how they were manufactured) so I wish that wasn’t on. Also they could be sanded down a little more.
