They dull to fast and are curved so they are not good for all applications.I have bought other brands for less money that are much better.

I have been using a reciprocating saw for years with a regular wood cutting blade to trim trees or cut small stumps close to the ground (when you wouldn't want to risk your chainsaw blade hitting the ground). I guess I never knew they made blades specifically for cutting branches and stuff. These are a lot more aggressive than a finer toothed wood cutting blade and make the work much quicker. It is nice sometimes to just grab the battery powered reciprocating saw vs. dealing with the chainsaw.

I have a big limb pole saw from SILKY that has curved blades and cuts really well so when I saw these curved blades for my reciprocating saw I knew they would be good. Cuts limbs really well! Study blade stays straight, teeth are sharp and the curved edge cuts fast. Excellent!

I just used one of these blades over the weekend to remove a couple branches from a tree/bush in my backyard. One branch was on the small side at around 2" thick while the other was on the larger size at around 6" thick. I used a Milwaukee M12 reciprocating saw. I know that may not be the best choice for a 6" branch but it's what I had around me. Haha It worked pretty well on the 2" branch. I expected it to do a little better than it did just because I have one of those Japanese curved handsaws and that thing blows through branches better than any hand saw I've ever used so I expected more from these blades. Again, they were pretty good. It also did well on the 6" branch. Considering it was a little recip saw with a little battery, I still have to be a little impressed by the blades. I also have to say that there were multiple cuts on each branch starting as high as I could reach at first and then cutting every 8-12" until the whole branch was completely removed. After all was said and done, I still had half the bars left on my little 3ah battery. So, these blades did pretty well. I'm not sure that the curve of the blade had much at all to do with it's success. I feel it was mainly the tooth design. With the fact that the recip saw only moved about 1/2" back and forth, there couldn't have been much, if any, advantage with the curve.

These Workpro 15" pruning blades for reciprocating saws are by far the longest pruning blades I've ever used, 3" longer than the specialized pruning blades I've used in the past. They extend to over a foot from the saw's plate, so can be used on very substantial cuts. The teeth are shaped and ground differently from other pruning blades, ground sharp on 3 surfaces (photo), and they bite well and hold their line well too. Their curved blade makes the cut easier to start.I tried these on some wet wood still around from the last storm cleanup, and they cut smoothly and well. They certainly won't replace a chainsaw for speed, but they're easy to control and it's far easier to use a rechargeable reciprocating saw one handed while on a ladder than to handle even a small chainsaw. These will certainly be my go-to blades for clearing dead limbs and removing small trees, and I'm hoping to get some use from them for shaping bowl blanks for lathe turning too.
