I really like the style of these, but they slipped a lot during matches. My kids have medium length hair and we could not get them to stay put.

The clasp to hold the chin strap broke the first time this was used. My son is a novice wrestler so the use was pretty tame. There are better options that are much more sturdy

I purchased this for my 6yr olds first yr of youth wrestling. I can't get it to fit right & it came up his mouth during his first match. I have it tight....which is not very easy to do, & it just still doesn't sit right on his head. I have to replace his headgear before his next match which is really inconvenient. I don't recommend this.

I've tried several headgears for my son. The main issue with a lot of these is the structure of the gear prevents it from staying in the kids head while grappling. This piece of gear. Glad to say is well thought out, it fits my son perfectly and stayed on while grappling, and they got something right that other headgears failed to realize. The put the scratchy part of the velcro facing away from the skin. So it fits comfortable on my kids head and I can tighten it to his comfort without worrying about his head getting all scratched up.very ergonomic, very easy to out in and.off.
