Wow, we were about to go out and buy new blinds due to an unraveled cord on one side of the blind. So glad we found some YouTube videos on replacing the blind cord. This was the perfect size and color for our wooden blind. Just make sure you use a lighter and singe then roll the tips to prevent fraying and allow easier threading into the caps. If you still have some old cord, just singe them both and quickly attach them end to end and roll with your fingers to bond them together. Then you can just pull the old one and out and the new one through in one step. Saved the day!

Had trouble getting them thru a hole. Ended up having to use tweezers to pull the thread thru and then that did not last long with a few knots on the end so I ended up pulling more of the thread thru and tieing in a knot. Now they stay.

First thing I noticed was that the color is more towards a gold brown then “brown” but still attractive. My original cord was thicker but this cord feels just as strong. To thread shredded end I wet the end and twisted just like thread thru a needle. No need to melt ends. While thinner, my flimsy tightener seems to work ok. Mine are 15 years old. I can nudge the clasp closed with my finger if needed. For aesthetics, I would prefer a thicker cord like the original but this works fine. Luckily, I had other similar blinds to follow the correct stringing route. Inexpensive with plenty of leftover for future use.

This is an excellent cord for replacement in venetian blinds. It is made of braided nylon that is strong and ideal for replacement of worn out or broken venetian blind cords.

It did the trick but the cord is very thin and I will probably have to replace it very often. I guess it is good it came with so much cord, but now I have to store the extra cord (which is on a large spool) as I used less than an eighth of the spool. I also think it was too expensive for the quality as I can already see the cord fraying from only a couple of months use.

Delivery was super fast. The product was as advertised. I used it to restring the roll up blinds on my lanai. The color was more golden brown than brown but that was ok. The cut ends needed to be burned to thread them through anything. The wooden pulls supplied were nice and were dark brown, matched the shades nicely. I rated 4 on sturdiness and durability because it's thinner than the original cord and I'm not sure how it's going to hold up.

I didn't know that replacement cord was available. It took patience since the blinds were for a six foot tall window but worked great. Be careful, the cord frays quickly after cutting.
